I’m going to have some sweet dreams……..at least I hope!I’ve been painting my linen closet and that was quite a job!It worked out pretty well,I think. Left picture is before right is after. .
I never paint ‘just’ one thing, I usually paint some little things like baskets and pots as well,so it will all fit together.
Made some fresh Lavender bags from vintage pictures and stamps for my new bedroom.My next thing to paint is the bed you see on the pictures!!!The chest of drawers is made of very old wood,so I think I ‘m going to leave it as it is.It’s a bit boring to paint everything white ,I think.I did screw a small white vintage hook in the wood and hang two cotton bags at it ,for a white touch.I’ve painted SSSSSSST….above the window and I ‘m going to paint a little word on the chair as well.
I’ve given my two night tables a place downstairs(will be showing it next time)and still had this chest that my son no longer wanted to have in his room so together with the old mirror a new answer on a dressing table!!I ‘m going to look for an old shelf or something to place the mirror on so it will be above the chest and a bit higher.Maybe the secondhand shop to look for a little old lamp.
This is my very old trunk,at least a hundred years old with marks and labels of countries all over the world.It’s has it’s place on top of the linen closet.Very easy to put all your ‘stuff that you don’t use but don’t want to throw away’ in!
Made a little present of course used old paper………
So far my sweet dreams bedroom….can’t wait to start painting my bed……..will be in my next post!
